About NourishPress
Making great digital books accessible to everyone
We publish books about food and health for people who cook on weeknights, not in test kitchens.
Why we started
NourishPress began in 2019 with a complaint. Good nutrition writing was either locked behind journals nobody outside a university can read, or flattened into listicles that told you to drink more water. The middle — careful, referenced, and still usable on a Tuesday evening — barely existed.
So we started commissioning it. Every title is written by someone who does the work: a registered dietitian, a clinician, a professional cook. Every claim is referenced. Every recipe is cooked in a home kitchen, by someone who is tired, before it goes in.
What we care about
Content that holds up
Authors are credentialed and the references are printed. Where the evidence is thin we say so rather than dressing a hunch as a finding.
Access without friction
No account, no app, no subscription. You buy a file, you download it, it is yours. Both PDF and EPUB, always, at no extra cost.
Prices that make sense
A digital book has no print run and no warehouse. Our prices reflect that. Bundles bring it down further, and we run one real sale a year rather than a permanent fake one.
A reading experience worth the money
Typeset properly, with a working table of contents, readable line lengths, and recipes that fit on one screen. Small things, but they are the difference between a book you finish and a PDF you forget.
Support from a person
Email us and a human replies, usually within a few hours. If a book was not what you expected, we refund it within 14 days and you keep the file.
